Horoscopes Past, Present & Future
How Zodiac Timeline works
Most horoscopes never tell you what they are based on. Ours do. Every reading on this site is built in three steps, and the “Show the math” panel under each one lists the facts it used.
1. We compute the real sky
Planetary positions are computed in-house from NASA JPL’s DE440 ephemeris, with the corrections needed to show each planet where it actually appears in the sky. We test them regularly against independent published references, and they agree to within a fraction of an arcsecond.
From those positions we find the day’s events to the minute: when the Moon changes sign, when a planet stations retrograde or direct, New and Full Moons, eclipses, and void-of-course Moon periods.
2. We place the sky in your sign’s houses
Daily horoscopes use solar houses: your Sun sign is your 1st house, the next sign your 2nd, and so on. When the Moon is in Cancer, it lights up the 4th house (home) for Aries but the 10th house (career) for Libra. That is why every sign gets a genuinely different day.
3. We score the day and write the reading
Love, career and energy scores reflect how the day’s sky meets your sign, on one consistent scale, so a 9 or 10 really is rare.
The words are written by people, not AI, for every placement and event. Each reading draws on the day’s most significant factors, so nothing in the text is invented: if a planet is mentioned, it is really there. Times are shown in your own time zone.
What we don’t do
We don’t predict events, diagnose anything or give financial advice. Astrology here is a lens for reflection: a prompt to notice the rhythm of your days and choose how you meet them.
Frequently asked questions
- Are Zodiac Timeline horoscopes written by AI?
- No. Each reading is built from that day's computed planetary positions and interpretations written by people. No AI model writes or changes the text, so the same date always produces the same reading.
- How accurate are the planetary positions?
- We compute them ourselves from NASA JPL's DE440 ephemeris, for 12:00 PM Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) each day, and test them against independent published references. They agree to within a fraction of an arcsecond.
- What are solar houses?
- Solar houses treat your Sun sign as the 1st house, the next sign as the 2nd, and so on around the zodiac. They show which area of life a planet is touching for your sign, which is why every sign gets a different reading on the same day.
- Why are event times shown in my time zone?
- Pages are published per UTC date, and your browser converts event times to your own time zone. It also shows the reading for your local date, so readers in Tokyo and Los Angeles each see their own today.
- How far back and ahead can I read?
- Every sign has a 15-day timeline, from seven days back to seven days ahead, and it moves forward each day.
- What do the love, career and energy scores mean?
- Each score from 1 to 10 weighs where the day's planets fall in your solar houses and how they relate to your sign.
