About Zodiac Timeline
Zodiac Timeline is a new kind of astrology site. Instead of a single day’s horoscope, every sign gets a timeline: look back at the past week, read today and see the week ahead, with love, career and energy scores for every day. It is built on astronomy, math and engineering: we compute the real sky ourselves, show the math behind the readings, and are honest about what astrology is and what it is not.
Why we built it
Most horoscope sites stop at yesterday, today and tomorrow. We kept asking a simple question: why not any day? Why can’t you look back over the past week, or read ahead into the next one?
The answer turned out to be the sky itself. A horoscope written by hand for a few days at a time can’t stretch across weeks. One built from the actual positions of the planets can, because the sky can be calculated for any date. So that is where we started: studying astronomy and astrology side by side, and gathering data from sources such as NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to compute the sky ourselves, precisely and for any day.
Then we joined that sky with astrological tradition: placing each day’s planets in every sign’s houses, scoring the day and composing a reading from what is actually up there. The result is a horoscope that isn’t limited to three days. Today you can move through fifteen of them, from a week back to a week ahead, and longer timelines are on the way.
What we believe
Astronomy comes first. Every reading starts with where the planets actually are. We compute their positions in-house from NASA JPL’s DE440 ephemeris, the planetary data JPL publishes for spacecraft navigation and science, and they agree with independent published references to within a fraction of an arcsecond.
The math should be checkable. Before any day is published, its values are recomputed independently and compared with published references. Under every reading, “Show the math” lists the positions and events it was built from, so nothing rests on anyone’s word, including ours.
Interpretation is tradition, presented honestly. The meanings come from astrological tradition and are written by people, not generated by AI. We don’t predict events, diagnose anything or give financial advice. Astrology here is a lens for reflection: a prompt to notice the rhythm of your days and choose how you meet them.
How we check our work
Before any day goes live, it is checked against official astronomical sources: national observatories, space agencies and the international services that keep the world’s time. Planet positions agree to within a fraction of an arcsecond, and the timing of events like New and Full Moons and eclipses to within about a minute. If a single value disagrees, nothing is published until we know why.
Built like a technology product
- Our own astronomy engine. No third-party astrology software. The sky, the events and the scores are computed by our own code.
- Repeatable. The same date always produces the same reading, because it is built from the computed sky, not written on the fly.
- Your timezone, not ours. Event times are shown in your own time zone, and you see the reading for your own local date.
- Enterprise-grade cloud. Hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the cloud trusted by large enterprises, and delivered through a global content delivery network (CDN), so pages load fast wherever you are.
- Respectful. No ads, no tracking and no cookies of our own.
How it works explains each step, from the sky to the reading.
Who it’s for
Anyone who reads a horoscope. Every sign gets its own reading each day, with love, career and energy scores, on a timeline that lets you look back and read ahead instead of stopping at tomorrow.
Anyone curious about astrology. Every reading shows the facts it was built from: the sign each planet is in, the house it falls in for your sign, the day’s aspects, retrogrades and the Moon’s phase. The Transits page follows each planet through its sign and its retrograde cycle, so the tradition is laid out in plain view instead of hidden behind a single paragraph.
Anyone who simply likes the sky. See where the Sun, the Moon and the planets are today, when the Moon changes sign or phase, and when a planet appears to turn backward. It is all computed from real data and shown in your own time zone, whether or not you ever read a horoscope.
Anyone who likes to read and learn. Use it as an almanac of the sky and a window into a tradition that is thousands of years old, for reflection or plain curiosity. There is nothing you have to believe to enjoy it.
